We are looking for a Finance Senior Team Leader who will lead, mentor and inspire a diverse team of back-office personnel and finance support staff. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in finance, accounting, or economics, coupled with excellent English communication skills. This role demands proven leadership experience, a proactive problem-solving approach, and the ability to manage priorities while ensuring effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Empower Growth: Conduct regular performance evaluations, manage the team's KPIs, and offer impactful feedback to enhance the skills and confidence of your team members.
- Drive Efficiency: Develop and implement cutting-edge strategies to optimize day-to-day operations, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness in meeting SLAs.
- Foster Innovation: Continuously identify areas for improvement, implement process enhancements, and leverage data-driven insights to enhance productivity and other SLA metrics.
- Client Relationship Management: Collaborate with your direct supervisor to create presentations relating to the team's monthly performance, and present the data and any feedback to the client. You must also maintain a positive relationship with the client and proactively address their evolving needs and expectations.
- Performance Excellence: Monitor performance metrics and deliver insightful performance reports to your direct supervisor and clients.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and implement necessary measures to safeguard the company’s operations and uphold data protection policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, preferably with a strong academic record.
- Minimum of 3 years in data and bank reconciliation, with at least 2 years of focused expertise.
- 1–2 years of leadership experience managing teams of 10 or more members.
- Experience working in multinational corporations is a significant advantage.
- Fluent in English (C1 level) with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven team management capabilities, with a leadership style that promotes collaboration and motivation.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining active communication with supervisors.
- Prior exposure to the travel or aviation industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with GDS systems (e.g., Galileo) or travel agency management tools (e.g., TravCom) is advantageous.
